At a Rhizome/ Brisbane City Council conference, a discussion took place regarding how artists with industry experience could help their newer peers, sharing information to prevent missteps in their creative careers.

The question was raised, "How do new artists, arts workers and community cultural development workers garner industry knowledge?" Various arts industry organisations were mentioned.

One of the outcomes was that Grace Art Events volunteered to create a central point of information with links to industry organisations that provide advice and support to artists from differing disciplines and areas of practice.
